Abu Dhabi, Jan 13 (PTI) - An American player will be seen for the first time in the Indian Premier League (IPL4).  He is fast bowler Ali Khan.  He will play for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR9).  The 29-year-old fast bowler will be replaced by English Sims bowler Harry Garner.  IPL4 approval is pending.  Gurney withdrew from both the IPL4 and England's Vitality Blast last month due to shoulder surgery.  Ali Khan played for the recently concluded Caribbean Premier League (CPL4) for the Trinidad and Tobago Knight Riders.  The team remained unbeaten in the tournament and won the title.  Khan took four wickets in the same number of matches at an average of 6.43.  Last season, he was a KKR9 target.  But the agreement could not be signed.  West Indies star all-rounder Dwayne Bravo was recognized by Khan's talent at the 2014 Global T20 Canada.  He was brought in and played in the CPL.  Ali Khan was named in the CPL All-Star team.  The American bowler played for the Guyana Amazon Warriors.  He took 14 wickets in 12 matches.  As the fastest bowler that season, he took the second highest wicket.  Bravo has already posted a video on Instagram.  It included scenes of Khan, Brendan McCullum, and several others boarding a plane.  The caption of the video was "Next Stop Dubai".  Khan can bowl at speeds of up to 140 km per hour.  He can throw good york.  KKR, led by Dinesh Karthik, will play its first match on September 23 against the Mumbai Indians.
