Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 70th birthday will be celebrated on the 19th.  The BJP has launched a "Seva Saptah" in the state from yesterday.  It will run until September 20.  On the first day, party workers planted 40 trees in each booth in their constituency.

 Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Kendujhar, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Puri, Nayagarh, Khordha, Devgarh, Sambalpur, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Boudh, Balangir, Kalahandi, Sonpur, Nabarangpur, Koraput, Malkangiri, Rayagada,  Extensive sapling planting has been carried out in Nuapadha, Anugul and Dhenkanal districts.  At the urging of state president Sameer Mohanty, all party MPs, legislators, district council chairpersons, all elected public representatives, party workers have joined the event in compliance with the Covid rule.
