Bhubaneswar: The Bay of Bengal is likely to experience light pressure by next Sunday due to the effects of the storm surge in the South China Sea, the Education and Research Department said.  According to the Climate Center.

 It is expected to be felt in West Bengal by Sunday night, with speeds in Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh, which will have an impact by September 23.  As a result, heavy to very heavy rains are expected in various districts of North Odisha on September 20 and 21.  Some parts of western Odisha are also likely to receive showers on September 22.  The CEC has forecast heavy rains in southern and coastal Odisha from September 16 to 21.
