Bhubaneswar: The e-master roll will start from January 1.  Effective January 1, 2021, e-masters will be rolled out in all departments.  In the first phase, the Department of Water Resources, Works, Panchayati Raj, Rural and Urban Development will be implemented.  The scheme is expected to take effect on October 2 and will cost more than Rs 10 crore for the e-Master Roll  project.  It has been decided after a review of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik's wages that the money will go directly to the workers' accounts if the e-master role is implemented.

 E-MasterRoll is mandatory for the wages of so many workers.  The state government has decided to bring transparency to the administration.  While the state government has described it as a historic decision, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has directed the government to implement the scheme under five of them.  E-MasterRoll is said to be responsible for the implementation of the project.

 More than Rs 10 crore worth of e-master rolls will be implemented.  Effective January 1, 2021, the e-master roll will be implemented in all departments.  "It simply came to our notice then.  This is because once the system is in place, workers' wages will be sent directly to their accounts.

 On the other hand, the minimum wage for workers will be monitored.  The ESI and the EPF will also be monitored over time.  In the first phase, the arrangement will be made in five sections.  From October 2, e-master rolls will be implemented in five key areas.  It has been informed that there will be e-master rolls for the Public Works Department, the Water Resources Department, the Panchayati Raj Department, the Rural Development and Urban Development Department.
