Kangana Ranaut will meet the governor tomorrow amid controversy with the Maharashtra government.
MUMBAI: Tensions are running high between the emerging government of Maharashtra and Kangana after the action of the Municipal Corporation (BMC) at the Mumbai office of Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut and the demolition of Kangana's office. There is strong opposition to the Thackeray government in Maharashtra. Meanwhile, actress Kangana Ranaut is likely to meet Maharashtra Governor Bhagwat Singh Koshari tomorrow, Sunday evening.
According to sources, Kangana may present to the governor about the BMC demolition in the office. The meeting is scheduled for Sunday at 4:30 p.m. Earlier, Governor Bhagwat Singh Koshari had expressed dissatisfaction with the issue. In this regard, he summoned Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray Ajay Mehta as the chief adviser.
Notably, the controversy between the Kangana and the Maharashtra government over the demolition of the BMC office is growing. Kangana Ranaut has been targeting the Uddhav government since its disbandment. Kangana compared the Shiv Sena to the Sonia Army, saying that the ideals built by Shiv Sena in Mr. Bala Saheb Thackeray today have become the Sonia Army of the Shiv Sena by selling the ideals.
Earlier on Friday, Union Minister Ramdas Atwale met Governor Bhagwat Singh Koshari. "I met the Maharashtra governor today in connection with the demolition of Kangana Ranaut's property in Mumbai and demanded his compensation," he said. The way the BMC destroyed his property is wrong. They should get justice.
