Kangana Ranaut and the Maharashtra government have been embroiled in controversy over the past few days.  Sometimes Kangana is targeting Shiv Sena and sometimes Shiv Sena ministers and leaders are attacking Kangana.  The controversy escalated to the point that the BMC had demolished Kangana's Mumbai office, which is now being fought by the Kangana, Maharashtra government.

 Kangana Ranaut has the backing of some Bollywood stars while on the other hand millions of fans across the country are backing her.  Surat's Jare cloth traders have also come out in support of Kangana.  She uses the poster of Kangana's film 'Manikarnika' in her sari.  I Support Kangana Ranaut is written on the bottom of the sari.  Sari trader Purushottam Jhunjhunwala Saraf Chhotu Bhai said, “The whole country is watching how actress Kangana Ranaut is being harassed and Kangana is still stubborn in her insistence.  Our job is to make and sell sarees for women, in which case we need Kangana’s support.
