Modi gifted Bihar Rs 401 crore before the Assembly elections
New Delhi, Sep 13: Assembly elections will be held in Bihar ahead. With this in mind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has donated Rs 401 crore to attract voters. He on Sunday inaugurated three petroleum projects in the state. These include the Paradwip-Muzaffarpur LPG pipeline project, the HPPL8 project in East, Champaran and the Indian Oil4 project in Durgapur-Banka.
The 143-kilometer-long Paradwip-Haldia-Durgapur pipeline project has cost Rs 736 crore. Modi will launch a Rs 14,000 crore scheme in the state before the election code of conduct comes into force. Modi will also lay the foundation stone of some projects on September 15, 18, 21 and 23.
