New Delhi : Photography is not banned on aircraft.  A statement from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) on Monday said:  Passengers can take photos on board board flights as before.  But the DGCA has made it clear that passengers are not allowed to take photos while flights are underway at the defense airfields.  Passengers can do steel and video photography while the plane lands and takes off, as before.  But people can't use any recording equipment.  Similarly, Cryo for bids it because such work interferes with aircraft operation.  Passengers have been asked to consider such issues.  Action will be taken against any passenger who violates the rules.  Notably, there was a report on Sunday that action would be taken if photographing on the plane.  It said action would be taken against the airline and crew and passengers in the cabin for violating the law.  The DGCA clarified this.
