Rahul destroys center again: Government has no information on Lockdown worker death

Rahul Gandhi MP

New Delhi: The lockdown in the country began in March.  During this time, millions of migrants returned home.  But the government has no information on how many migrant workers died during the lockdown.  Union Minister Santosh Gangwar acknowledged this.

Opposition parties have stated they will not run in the by-elections.  One question was how many workers died during the lockdown?  Did thousands of workers die?  If this is the case then please contact us.  In response, Union Minister Santosh Gangwar said the government did not have such information.

Another question was how many workers were compensated?  In response, Minister Gangwar said, "Where is the question of compensation as long as the workers have no information?"

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has slammed the central government over the government's response.  "Didn't you die because you didn't count?" He wrote on his Twitter account.  "It simply came to our notice then.  The whole world has witnessed their deaths, but only the Modi government is unaware of it. ”

From the beginning, Rahul Gandhi has been questioning the Modi government in the Karona case.  In February, Rahul tweeted a warning to the Modi government about the dangers of the corona, but the government did not take any action at the time.  216 died of starvation, while 218 and 133 died in road accidents.

An analysis by the BBC, on the other hand, found that 306 migrant workers had died between March 24 and June 1.
