 Riya Chakraborty's judicial custody extended till October 6, bail hearing in HC tomorrow

MUMBAI: Actress Riya Chakraborty, who is involved in the drug case, has been denied bail by a court and will have to remain in jail till October 6.  Riya and her brother Shovik Chakraborty had applied for bail in the Bombay High Court.  Earlier, on September 11, a special NDPS court in Mumbai rejected the bail pleas of Riya, her brother Shovik and four others.  The High Court will hear the case tomorrow.  Riya Chakraborty was arrested on September 8 and remanded in custody until September 22.

 Riya Chakraborty and Shovik Chakraborty were arrested on charges of buying drugs for the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput.  Earlier, Riya had refused to take drugs, but when questioned by the Narcotics Control Bureau, Riya's brother Shovik admitted that Riya's chat with Gai Rab was OK and that she herself was arranging drugs for Sushant.

 The NCB, which is investigating the drug case in the Sushant case, has launched an investigation.  Where the names of all the famous celebrities are coming out.  The NCB has so far arrested a total of 18 people in connection with the case and now terrorizes the entire Bollywood world after the names of actresses like Sara Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor and Rakul Preet.
