Six months later, women's cricket returned

LONDON, Sep22 (Udrakhabar) - Women's cricket has returned internationally six months after the Corona epidemic.  The five-match T20 series between the domestic England and West Indies women's cricket teams has started.  In the first match, England defeated the visiting West Indies women's cricket team by 47 runs.

Batting first in the match played at the County Ground, England's opener Tami Beaumont (62) scored a half-century off 163 for six in 20 overs.  In reply, the West Indies were limited to 116/6 despite a half-century by Dendra Dutin.  Winning the match, England took a 1-0 lead in the series.  The second match of the series will be played on Wednesday.  The Women's World Cup was held in February this year.  Australia defeated India in the final match on March 8 to win the World Cup.  Since then, women's cricket has been suspended for the Corona virus.
