 The BCCI has been asked to host the Mushtaq Ali tournament in Mumbai


Mumbai, Sep 21(Udrakhabar): The country's largest domestic T20 tournament, the Mushtaq Ali Trophy, is set to be held in Mumbai.  Nadeem Memon, a member of the Mumbai Cricket Association's Apex Council and a well-known curator, has appealed to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).  Mumbai has a large number of grounds.  "So there will be no problem in organizing the tournament," he said.  He e-mailed BCCI President Sourav Ganguly in this regard.  We are able to host the 2020 session of the tournament in Mumbai.  Mumbai has four good quality cricket grounds.  These grounds have all kinds of infrastructure and facilities.  There is also a good hotel near the ground.  According to the BCCI guidelines, the health and safety of all cricketers and officials can be ensured.  "In just 20 days, the All India Women's BCCI Daily Tournament was held in Mumbai last February and March," Memon said in an e-mail.  Emerging cricketers need to think about Patna, ”he said.

 Ashok Malhotra, head of the Indian Cricketers' Association and former cricketer, has expressed support for Memon.  He opined that domestic tournaments should be held at these venues as there are all kinds of facilities in Mumbai, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala or Bengaluru.  Not to mention, Mumbai has been most affected by the Covid-19 epidemic.  The MCA has three grounds, namely Obankhade, BKC and Sachin Tendulkar's Jimha Khanna.  Excluding this, Nabi has Dubai Patil Stadium in Mumbai and Dadoji K Stadium in Thane.  There is also the Brabourne Stadium in South Mumbai.
