The Pakistani navy abducted 45 fishermen from Indian waters
In the wake of tensions between India and China, Pakistan has begun a series of provocations. On Wednesday, the Pakistani navy entered Indian waters and arrested 45 fishermen in four boats and taken them to the port of Karachi. Of the four boats, four were from the port and two from the Birabal area. Gujarat fishermen have drawn the attention of the central government over this. The fishermen arrested by the Pakistani navy were fishing within Indian waters, but they alleged that the navy had unjustly arrested them. The Indian Coast Guard has been alerted to the Pakistani navy's actions. Earlier last February, the Pakistani Coast Guard arrested 19 fishermen with three boats in Saurashtra. They are currently being held in Karachi Jail.
