The Taj Mahal, a symbol of love, will open six months later on Monday
Agra, Sep 20: The Taj Mahal and Agra Fortress, a symbol of seventeenth-century love, will reopen six months later on Monday. These attractions were closed due to the corona epidemic. Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) officials have made all necessary arrangements to open the tourist site.
Amarnath Gupta, caretaker, said sanitation, thermal skinning, circle painting to protect social distance have been arranged at the east and west gates. 2,500 people in one shift are allowed to visit the Taj Mahal. Tourists will only be allowed to enter through online booking. Tickets for foreign tourists are priced at Rs 1,100 and Rs 50 for Indians. An additional Rs 200 will have to be paid for the burial of Emperor Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal. In Agra, 4,706 people have been affected by the virus so far. Of those, 117 died.
