 The third phase of the Oxford vaccine trial in Pune

Pune, Sep 20 (udrakhabar)The third phase of the vaccine trial, developed by the University of Oxford and the Pune-based Siram Institute in India to prevent the coronavirus, will begin in Pune next week.  Dr Muralidhar Tambe, a doctor at the Sasun General Hospital in Pune, which is being run by the state government, informed PTI.  "A number of volunteers have long been in the lead for the third phase of the Covisild vaccine test," Dr Tambe said.  About 150 to 200 volunteers will be given the dose.  Prior to that, registration at the hospital will begin.  Those who want to participate in the trial can contact the hospital.  "If everything goes well, the trial could start next Monday," he said.
