Restrictions on the use of generators
The Delhi Pollution Control Commission (DPCC) on Wednesday took an important decision to curb the rapid rise in air pollution in the national capital, Delhi. All electric power generators from diesel, petrol and kerosene have been banned since October 15, except for emergency and emergency services. Essential services include health facilities, elevators, rail services, Delhi Metro, airports, interstate bus terminals and data centers run by the National Information Center.
The DPCC has issued a directive on Thursday to ban the use of generators in the capital under the Response Action Plan (GRAP). GRAP is an anti-pollution measure. Which is based on the seriousness of the situation in and around Delhi.
