 Rs 25 lakh worth of  bargarh cough syrup seized: 4 arrested

Bargarh district Sohela police on Wednesday raided Haldipalli intersection and seized a pickup van carrying a cough syrup.  Guru Riddha of Talpadar village, Sambalpur district administration police station, Akash Kumhar of the administration, Alok Maharana of Beithapali police station, Aithapali police station, Shankardev alias Deepak Seth of Sodhapadar village of Balangir district have been arrested in the case.  13,200 bottles of cough syrup were seized in the raid.  The estimated cost is Rs 2.5 million, police said.  In this regard, Sohela police station no.  SJP Padmini Sahu told a news conference that a case had been filed in 161/ 2020.
