 The Paytm app will no longer be available in the Google Play Store

New Delhi: Google removed Paytm App from the Google Play Store on Friday.  Google has accused Paytm of gambling.  The company has removed such an app, saying it cannot be placed in the Play Store.  The app was developed by Paytm and UPLApp One97 Communications Limited.  However, Paytm Mall, Business Paytm, Paytm Money are available in the app store.

 Google says it does not allow apps that promote sports betting, and such apps will be removed from the Google Play Store.  The Indian Premier League 2020 (IPL) is scheduled to launch in the UAE on September 19, ahead of major sporting events like the IPL in India.

 "Paytm is not available in the Google Play Store right now, but we'll be back soon," Paytm tweeted.  Your money is completely safe and you will soon be able to use the Paytm app as before.
