Oriya boy behind WFP success
The World Food Program (WFP) has been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for 2020. Pranab Khaitan, an Oriya boy, is one of the key figures in the Nobel Prize-winning WFP, which works to fight hunger and alleviate hunger. Pranab, who is a member of the WFP Advisory Council, has been instrumental in the success of the program. Pranab's family now lives in Rourkela. He earned a master's degree in computer science from Rourkela NIT in 2009 and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Stanford University in the United States. He is currently the Senior Engineering Lead at Google, while he is also the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Technology Leader at WFP. Pranab joined hands with WF4P with the aim of spreading the benefits and usefulness of Artificial Intelligence to the world. Thanks to his efforts, the United Nations has lifted the appetite of millions of people today. Pranab's special AI technology assesses the damage caused by natural disasters in just 24 to 72 hours. Food and essentials are being delivered to the people in the affected areas under difficult circumstances. As a result, WFP's cooperation is reaching out to those in need. He thanked all the teachers and families, including NURI Rourkela, for their success. Pranab said he would work with the Google team to work together with the Google team to address global hunger, food security and nutrition problems by 2030. Pranab's success has sparked a wave of happiness in the family.
