MUMBAI: Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut Brihan has filed a petition in the Mumbai High Court seeking compensation of Rs 2 crore from the Mumbai Municipality (BMC).  BMC authorities demolished Kangana's Pali Hill Bangla in Bandra on charges of encroachment.  Sixty per cent of Bengal was destroyed, while some of its valuable immovable property was destroyed.  The BMC authorities demolished the bungalow after issuing a 24-hour notice of illegal evictions.  Kangana, however, complained in her petition that the BMC’s work was planned and scheduled.  On September 9, the BMC demolished Kangana's bungalow, while Kangana filed a petition in the High Court on October 10.  However, in the petition, Kangana has now demanded Rs 2 crore in compensation.
