MUMBAI: Telecom companies across the country will pay up to 10% of the total Adjusted Gross Revenue (AGR) fee owed to them by March. These companies include Bharati Airtel, Vodafone-Idea. The companies have been ordered by the Supreme Court to pay the installments in the coming days. However, about 10% of the total payment was due by March 31 next year, a senior government official said. Currently, the service providers are expected to provide about Rs 12,921 crore to the government by March 31. About 80% of this will be provided by Vodafone,Idea and Airtel. "The Supreme Court has clearly ordered this," he said.
