Dashahara at Samaleswari Peeth: Virtual philosophy for the first time

The 16th healing puja and the lighting of the mental lamp began on October 17 at the presiding deity Maa Samaleshwari Peeth. Sixteen Jyoti forms such as Durga, Narayani, Ishani, Vishnumaya, Shiva, Sati, Nitya, Satya, Bhagwati, Sharbani, Sarvamangala, Ambika, Vaishnavi, Gauri, Parvati, Sanatani are worshiped. It is customary to worship Ma Samaleshwari in the Bhubaneswar mantra. Every day there are different pleasures.
This year, after the Mahalaya, the rituals have been completed from Mulastami to Maa Durga Jyoti to Satya form, while Ambika Prasad Rai, the chief priest of the Samaleswari temple, who visited Maa Bhagwati on October 14, said the rituals have been completed. The mother is adorned every evening. The unbroken candlelight vigil that began at Pratipada will end with a Ranjita procession with the immersion of lamps on Vijaya Dashmi. In the Mahalaya, Ma Samaleshwari will be dressed in white, while on the full moon day of Kumar, special worship will be performed with the Rajarajaswari costume of the mother and the new flag-raising of the temple. Since the sixteenth healing puja is performed on this pedestal in the form of sixteen lights of Maa Jagdamba, the ten Mahavidyas or Navadurga are not beautiful.
