Launched 'My Electricity' portal 'Mobile App': Chief Minister launches
Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today unveiled the Electricity Consumer Services Portal 'Mo Bidyut' and Mobile App through a video conference. Launched under the five-step initiative, electricity users will be able to access various services online, including applications for electricity connections, bill payments, and complaints about electricity services.
Speaking at the event, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said it was another turning point under the "Five". "The people of the state will be able to access an efficient, timely and transparent online service through this portal / mobile app," he said.
Announcing that power services will no longer be under ‘my government’, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said electricity is an essential service and has a significant impact on modern lifestyles. He added that ministers and high-ranking officials would be in touch with customers to gather feedback from them and that the service would be monitored under "My Government".
The Chief Minister informed that ‘My Electricity’ is an integrated bilingual online electricity consumer service, which would benefit 600,000 electricity consumers in the state. The Chief Minister urged all consumers and the public in the state to use this online service system to find a simple, easy and speedy solution to their electricity service problems. He said the mobile app, which was developed to provide convenience to consumers, will soon be available in the Google Play Store. The Chief Minister hoped that the Department of Energy would implement such a more effective system to provide better quality services to the people.
The occasion was graced by Energy Minister Divya Shankar Mishra, Development Commissioner Suresh Chandra Mohapatra, Energy Department Chief Secretary Nikunj Bihari Dhal, Agriculture and Farmer Empowerment Chief Secretary and Gridcore Chairman Dr. Senior officials from the Sourav Garg and Energy Department were present. 5 'Secretary' V.S.
