Family quarrel turns tragic, half-brother stab wound to brother-in-law

Balipatna police station has witnessed the tragic consequences of family quarrels in Abhayamukhi village Contuse, one and a half years old, stabbed his younger brother's wife, Mansi Sahu, 40, to death in Govind Sahu bill hock.  The attack left the woman with serious injuries to her head and hands  Mansi was first treated at the Abhayamukhi Sub-Health Center  He has been admitted to Capital Hospital as his condition is critical.

 According to sources, there was already a land dispute between Govind Sahu alias Babula and his younger brother Nand Kishore Sahu alias Thekua of Deulidharpur Panchayat Abhayamukhi Sasan village.  This was reported to the police several times  The dispute was also resolved in the presence of the gentleman after the complaint was lodged with the police  But Babula disobeyed the gentleman's decision  The younger brother's property was forcibly confiscated  Because of this, the two brothers often quarreled.

Nanda Kishore again informed the police as Babula started building houses on his younger brother’s property.  Today Babula came home from Bhubaneswar and went to the shop in the younger brother’s market and asked why we had informed the police again.  Then the younger brother Nanda Kishore asked to obey the gentleman’s decision  However, at around 11 a.m. that day, Babula went home and quarreled with his wife Mansi in the absence of Nanda Kishore.

 Babula suddenly attacked her brother-in-law with a knife as the quarrel escalated.  The woman sustained more than 20 stitches in her arms and head and her condition is critical.  On hearing the news, Banamalipur Fandi police rushed to the spot and seized the blood-soaked knife  No complaint has been lodged with the police so far as Mansi is being treated at the medical  Police are investigating.
